The 2010 Speed T&F Summer Program's primary
focus is to equip athletes with the knowledge, skill and
ability to compete successfully at the State, Regional
and National Junior Olympic Level of USA Track and
Field.
Coach Charmas Lee brings over 22 years of
experience to the track and field arena. Athletes will
receive event specific, semi-custom programs that
emphasize all of the components required to maximize
their individual potential. In an effort to fine-tune
their abilities, athletes will have the opportunity to
compete in up to eight weekend competitions, as
they run towards success. Participation in this summer
training program is a great way to improve your speed
for the fall sport season.
PURPOSE The 2010
Speed T&F Summer Program is designed to enhance the
athlete's power, as it relates to speed for any sport
where speed is a critical factor. One of the primary
purposes of this program is to provide an athlete with
the foundation required to maintain proper running
mechanics throughout short sprints, long sprints, and
speed intervals. Athletes will also benefit immensely
from the core strengthening, muscular endurance and
energy systems training/conditioning.
